Terms of use

Effective October 18, 2026. Tin Index is run by Loudoun Pros LLC, Leesburg, Virginia ("we", "us").

What Tin Index is

Tin Index is a community board where people report the prices and shelf availability of nicotine pouches, and of the nicotine-free caffeine and B12 pouches sold beside them, at stores near them. We publish what people report. We do not sell nicotine products, we are not a retailer, and we are not affiliated with any pouch brand or store.

You must be 21 or older

Tin Index is for adults 21 and over. By using it you confirm you are at least 21. We may remove accounts we believe belong to anyone younger.

Your account

You sign in with an email address, which we use only to sign you in (and for data notes if you opt in). Everyone else sees only the nickname you choose. Pick a nickname that is not your real name if you want to stay anonymous; you can change it or post as "anon" at any time.

What you post

When you post a price, a shelf check, a confirmation, a review, or any other content ("contributions"), you keep ownership of it, and you give us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute it, including as part of aggregated datasets that we may license to third parties. That license lets the board work, and it is how Tin Index pays for itself. We never include your email address, your nickname, or anything that identifies you in those datasets.

You confirm that what you post is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that it is yours to share, and that it does not include personal information about other people. A photo of your own receipt is read by software to fill in the form and is not stored; do not upload anyone else's receipt or documents.

What you may not do

• Post prices or availability you did not actually see.
• Flag a store ("something off?") for anything other than what happened to you on a visit you actually made. A flag is your account of one visit, shown with your nickname; it is not verified by us and is not an accusation of a crime.
• Post on behalf of a store, brand, or distributor without saying so in your nickname.
• Scrape, bulk-download, or automatically post to the board. If you want the data, ask us; that is what the licensed datasets are for.
• Harass other people, impersonate anyone, or try to identify other contributors.
• Break, overload, or probe the service.

We can remove contributions and close accounts that break these rules, without notice.

Accuracy

Prices and availability are reported by people, not verified by us. They may be wrong, outdated, or in Maryland. Check before you drive. The "sure thing" label is our estimate of how fresh and consistent reports are, not a promise that a store has anything in stock.

Pro

If we offer a paid tier, its price and what it includes are shown when you sign up. Payments are handled by Stripe. You can cancel at any time and keep what you paid for until the end of the period.

Changes and availability

Tin Index is new and changes often. Features will change, and the service may be unavailable or discontinued at any time. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do, and continuing to use Tin Index after that means you accept the new terms.

No warranty; limits on liability

Tin Index is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Loudoun Pros LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a decision you make based on information on the board. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $20 if you paid nothing.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Loudoun County, Virginia.
